Mark Scales - Founder & Owner

Graduate Gemologist - GIA

Mark is a dedicated jeweler with decades of experience. He began his career in 1979, gaining valuable experience by working at various jewelry stores, from large chains to small, family-owned shops. Along the way, Mark absorbed everything he could about the craft before pursuing formal training at the Gemological Institute of America, where he mastered the art of appraising and working with precious stones, graduating in 1985.

In 1998, with years of industry experience, Mark opened his own store in Cary, North Carolina. He specializes in crafting unique, personalized pieces that will be treasured for a lifetime. Mark is committed to delivering exceptional service and fine craftsmanship to every client.

Michelle - Manager

Certified Diamontologist - GIA

Michelle's journey in jewelry began 20 years ago here, at Mark Andrews Jewelers. She is a certified diamontologist and is currently pursuing her graduate gemologist degree at the Gemological Institute of America. Michelle takes great pride in designing custom jewelry and curating the extensive selection of estate pieces available at the store. Above all, she values the opportunity to assist generations of local families with their jewelry needs.

Lynda has dedicated over 40 years to the jewelry industry, assisting countless clients with everything from repairing treasured pieces to crafting new creations destined to become family heirlooms.
